Jalen Milroe became the butt of several jokes Saturday after his rough outing versus unranked Oklahoma at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla.
No. 7 Alabama entered its matchup against Oklahoma needing a win to maintain its grip on a College Football Playoff spot. With the Crimson Tide’s postseason aspirations on the line, Milroe came up largely empty.
The Alabama QB went 11/26 for 164 yards with 3 interceptions in the 24-3 loss the Oklahoma. Milroe’s worst mistake of the game came with Alabama trailing 17-3 early in the second half. Already down two scores, Milroe dug an even deeper hole for himself with a careless pick-six that Oklahoma linebacker Kip Lewis read all the way.

Fans on social media showed Milroe little mercy after he faltered in a game where Alabama was considered the heavy favorite.

Milroe has had some incredible highs this season, particularly against Georgia and LSU. But some felt like the Alabama QB has been mediocre against the rest of the team’s opponents.

Alabama came into the game riding a three-game win streak that included lopsided victories over ranked opponents LSU and Missouri. But the miserable loss to the Sooners may put the Crimson Tide’s College Football Playoff bid into question.
