Jaylen Waddle heads to locker room with injury issue after scoring on punt return
Jaylen Waddle made a spectacular play in the first quarter of Saturday’s LSU-Alabama game but later exited with an injury.
Towards the start of the second quarter, CBS reported that Waddle headed into the locker room after spending time in the medical tent. The nature of his issue was unclear, but CBS noted that Waddle was able to jog, suggesting he was not having any leg issues.
Waddle’s punt return to get Bama on the board was extremely impressive. He was able to score despite nearly getting his head ripped off on a missed facemask call:

Waddle was not on the field when the Crimson Tide got the ball for their next possession.
Waddle had two catches for 14 yards in addition to his punt return for a touchdown prior to his injury.
