Adam Schefter lists 3 NFL teams as possibilities for Jim Harbaugh
Jim Harbaugh will soon have to make a decision about his future now that the college football season has ended, and one NFL insider says the Michigan coach could have several options.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter spoke about Harbaugh’s future before Michigan dominated Washington in the College Football Playoff National Championship game. Schefter said he believes Harbaugh will be “all ears” when NFL teams come calling and listed three potential suitors — the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Falcons.
“I think the Chargers absolutely are interested in talking with Jim Harbaugh. I think the Raiders are very curious about Jim Harbaugh. I think the Falcons could come to express some interest in Jim Harbaugh,” Schefter said. “There are some spots and there are some opportunities. … He’s gonna listen and there will be opportunities.”

The consensus seems to be that there will be an NFL head coach job available if Harbaugh wants to leave Michigan. However, it should be noted that Harbaugh flirted with NFL teams the last two offseasons but seemed to lose out to other candidates.
Harbaugh essentially admitted two years ago that he would have taken the Minnesota Vikings job if it were offered to him. The 60-year-old then met with the Denver Broncos last offseason but was never Plan A for them.
Harbaugh seemed to drop a strong hint after Monday night’s game that he will remain with the Wolverines, though he may have just been wrapped up in the moment. At the very least, he is clearly open to listening to NFL teams for a third consecutive year.
