Josh Boutte ejected after cheap shot against Wisconsin (Video)
Late in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game between LSU and Wisconsin, Tigers offensive lineman Josh Boutte delivered a cheap shot that will surely be a talking point after the game.
With LSU trailing 16-14 late in regulation, Tigers quarterback Brandon Harris was intercepted by Badgers safety D’Cota Dixon, which would seal the upset victory for Wisconsin. After the play, while celebrating, Dixon was leveled by Boutte. Here’s video from a few angles.
Boutte was assessed a personal foul and ejected, as he should have been. It goes without saying there’s no need for behavior like that and the senior can surely expect disciplinary action from the SEC in the near future.
