USC wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during Saturday’s Pac-12 Championship Game after shoving Stanford’s Ronnie Harris.
Following an incomplete pass on third down in the first quarter, Harris had one arm on Smith-Schuster and seemed to offer him a hand to get up with the other. Smith-Schuster took offense to something Harris did or said and smacked him away:
USC ended up punting on the possession.
It seems likely that Smith-Schuster was just frustrated about the incompletion and that Harris hovered over him for no reason.
