Kelly Bryant reacts to Clemson not giving him a championship ring
Kelly Bryant isn’t going to get worked up over Clemson’s decision to not give him a championship ring.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney stirred up a minor controversy on Wednesday when he explained why Bryant, Clemson’s longtime quarterback who was ultimately relegated to the bench by Trevor Lawrence, would not receive a championship ring despite making four early season appearances for the team. Bryant was quite relaxed about it, and didn’t consider it a big deal.
Kelly Bryant: “A ring is a ring. I’m in Missouri, and I don’t play any mind to that. Everybody else can make a story about it, which it’s not really a story.” #Mizzou

It’s probably best for Bryant to just ignore this one. There’s nothing he can do about it and he has little to gain from being critical of his former school. He knows he played a small part in that championship and doesn’t need the ring to prove it.
