Michigan band forms ‘Jumpman’ logo during halftime
With Michael Jordan in attendance, the University of Michigan band gave a nod to the man whose logo is now on the uniforms of the football team.
Not only was Saturday’s game against Hawaii the season opener for Michigan, it also marked the first time the Wolverines took the field for an official game in their new Jordan Brand uniforms. In addition to Jordan making an appearance at the Big House for the occasion, so did Derek Jeter, Charles Woodson, and LaMarr Woodley.
A great addition to the #GoBlue family.

To pay tribute to Jordan and signal the beginning of a new era for the school, the Wolverines marching band formed the shape of the famous Jumpman logo next to the traditional block “M” during halftime.
