Mike Gundy uses hilarious Donkey Kong analogy to talk QB’s development

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is a big fan of Donkey Kong. So much so, in fact, that he thinks it makes a great analogy for the progress of starting quarterback Spencer Sanders.
Gundy was discussing the steps Sanders needs to take to continue improving as a quarterback when he immediately broke into a very well-versed recitation of the process of advancing through the levels of Donkey Kong. Sanders, he said, is still working on clearing the elevator level before he can set the high score.
What is the learning process like for Spencer Sanders as #OKState's starting QB?
Mike Gundy will answer that question with a pretty detailed Donkey Kong illustration.

Why is Gundy such an expert in Donkey Kong? It’s the only game he can play with his kids that he’s any good at, so he’s up on it.
At least the Oklahoma State coach was in a much better mood than he was when he went after a reporter last week.
