After weeks of speculation, Mike Leach is reportedly committing long-term to the Washington State Cougars.
KXLY’s Derek Deis cited school president Kirk Schulz in reporting that a long-term extension between Leach and the Cougars will be announced on Monday.

Washington State will be very pleased to lock Leach down long-term. He was linked multiple times to the Tennessee job, but ultimately it doesn’t appear that he ever came particularly close to leaving. He led Washington State to a very successful 9-3 season, and the school will be thrilled that he’ll keep them moving forward.
