One Oklahoma Sooner player ran into an unexpected obstacle while trying to take the field for Saturday’s game against the Auburn Tigers.
A video posted on X showed Oklahoma players taking the field at Auburn in rather unremarkable fashion. An Auburn cheerleader, however, went flipping through the oncoming rush of Sooners. The Oklahoma players almost made it through until one cheerleader completely took out one Oklahoma player who did not seem to be paying enough attention.

The close-up shows a pretty nasty collision for both player and cheerleader. Fortunately, both appeared to be fine.

The favored Sooners weren’t too rattled by the entrance as they jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but Auburn struck back with two scores to take a 14-7 lead into the half. Maybe the cheerleader was playing the long game. On the bright side, it could have gone a lot worse for that player.
