North Carolina is planning to fire Larry Fedora as their head football coach, according to a report.
Inside Carolina reported after UNC’s loss to rival NC State on Saturday that the Tar Heels are planning to make a coaching change.
Fedora is in his seventh season as the team’s head coach. He had winning seasons in four of his first five seasons, including an 11-3 record in 2015. But the team has sputtered since.
UNC went 3-8 last season and 2-9 this season. If Fedora is fired, that would likely take Carolina out of the running for transfer Kelly Bryant.
