Reports have emerged indicating that Oklahoma’s star running back is done for 2018.
According to Carson Cunningham of KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, Rodney Anderson, who suffered a knee injury in the first quarter, is out for the season, though no official announcement has been made by the school, and the nature of the injury hasn’t been reported or disclosed.
Word I’m getting is Rodney Anderson is done for the year. Lincoln Riley will have to confirm that, but it does not sound good. #Sooners

Former Oklahoma fullback J.D. Runnels had hinted earlier that the injury was severe.

Anderson suffered the injury to his right knee late in the first quarter of Oklahoma’s game against UCLA. He did not return to the game and was spotted in street clothes while wearing a knee brace on the sideline later in the contest.
The junior running back suffered a season-ending leg injury in 2015 and season-ending neck injury in 2016.
