Oklahoma RB Rodney Anderson leaves game with potential knee injury

One of college football’s top running backs suffered an injury scare on Saturday.

Oklahoma Sooners running back Rodney Anderson left Saturday’s game against UCLA with a limp at the end of the first quarter. He was taken to the locker room to be checked out, with reports indicating that there was concern about the status of his right knee.

Anderson is one of the country’s top running backs. He had already scored a touchdown against UCLA, his third of the season. He had 13 of them a year ago to go with 1,161 yards, and was named in some circles as a dark horse Heisman candidate.
