Texas coaches to wear Kevin Durant gear while recruiting
University of Texas football coaches will soon be sporting Kevin Durant-branded Nike gear when they hit the road for recruiting trips.
Durant may have only spent one season at Texas, but his impact continues to be felt around campus. In the past, Durant has hooked up the men’s basketball team with versions of his signature sneakers in colorways that match Longhorns’ uniforms. Now, football coaches will wear gear with Durant’s initials as well.
On Monday, the Twitter account for the football program shared a photo of what coaches will wear while recruiting.

Last year, head coach Tom Herman offered an embarrassing quote on the state of recruiting for Texas’ football program. According to ESPN, the Longhorns have the No. 3 recruiting class for 2018.
Getting new swag with the backing of Kevin Durant can only help going forward, right?
