The Texas Longhorns have landed a big graduate transfer.
Tre Watson announced on Twitter Sunday that he has committed to Texas. Watson, who played undergraduate ball at Cal, picked Texas over Texas Tech and LSU.

Watson has a season of eligibility left after two good seasons with the Golden Bears. He had 600 yards and four touchdowns from scrimmage as a sophomore. He broke out in his junior season with 950 yards from scrimmage and 8 touchdowns. Watson suffered a season-ending knee injury last year and is recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL.
Tom Herman has to be thrilled about adding Watson to the mix.
