Texas Longhorns sophomore quarterback Shane Buechele practiced on Tuesday despite his ankle injury.
Buechele suffered a sprained ankle in Texas’ 17-7 win over Iowa State last week. He has been in a walking boot to help him heal, though he shed that to practice Tuesday.
He apparently took all his reps as he practiced with his ankle taped:

Buechele has been banged up all season. He missed the San Jose State and USC games with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Sam Ehlinger in both contests.
Buechele went 19 of 26 for 171 yards, a touchdown, an interception and 42 rushing yards against the Cyclones. Texas said that they expected him to be ready to play against Kansas State despite the ankle injury. Tom Herman even said he thinks Buechele will be “serviceable.”
Tom Herman says QB Shane Buechele had a boot on at practice yesterday, and will get a shot in the ankle to "be serviceable" this week.
