Boyd was involved in a car crash in Austin on July 4, according to the Austin American-Statesman. He is accused of assaulting a man at the scene of the crash.
Boyd’s brother, also a Texas football player, tweeted about the crash and said that they had been rear-ended.
Our angels had they hands over us today @nofear_2 Got rear ended and smashed! We’re doing a lot better. Thank you to those who reached out. Could’ve been gone but we here. pic.twitter.com/2TuHaMyZLS
