Comedian Theo Von was the celebrity guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay” on Saturday, but he seemingly took a loss before he even had the chance to make any selections.
Von was interviewed by ESPN’s Jess Sims before making his way to the main desk to make his picks, as is customary on the show. The comedian made things awkward at the end of the interview by seemingly trying to flirt with Sims, and the reporter was not having it.
“Will I ever see you again?” Von asked.
“No, I hope not,” Sims responded.
Did Jess Sims just shut down Theo Von live on national television?

Von really wasn’t afraid of potentially looking bad. He was the only person on the panel to pick Vanderbilt to beat Alabama on Saturday, and he did so in Tuscaloosa, no less.
It should be noted that Von lives in Nashville and is a big Commodores fan. He even seemed to land a date with quarterback Diego Pavia’s mom earlier this season, although Pavia himself suggested there were some conditions that needed to be fulfilled for that to actually happen.
Von can take some solace in knowing this might not have been the most awkward moment on “GameDay” this season.
