Diego Pavia is willing to let his mom Antoinette Padilla go on a date with comedian Theo Von, but there is one condition.
Pavia helped lead Vanderbilt to a win over South Carolina in their game on Saturday. Comedian Theo Von was in attendance for the game and drew attention after SEC Network reporter Cole Cubelic spilled the beans about a date that was on the line. Cubelic revealed that Pavia promised Von that he could take the quarterback’s mother on a date if Vandy beat South Carolina.
After Vandy won the game, Von made clear over social media that he was ready to cash in on their bet. Pavia is now saying there is a catch to the situation. He says that he needs a date with singer Tate McRae.
“what @TheoVon forgot is, I said it was a deal if and only if he told @tatemcrae to lemme (sic) take her on A1 date in Nashville,” Pavia wrote on X. “twitter make it happen.”

Were those really the terms of the wager? Or is Pavia now trying to squeeze his dream date out of things? The way he sees it, why should Von be the only one getting what he wants out of things? He might as well shoot his shot as well and see if he can swing a date with McRae.
