The decision from “ESPN College GameDay” to broadcast from the campus of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fl. was not necessarily a popular one this week, but Hurricanes fans made sure they were in good voice. Pat McAfee: "Geez, what if that goes the whole show?… We didn't even really get a word out, and they started with this." #CFB pic.twitter.com/EynFapRLzt
Naturally, Pat McAfee was eager to draw attention to the chant.
“What if that goes the whole show? Have you thought about that ever?” McAfee joked.
Cursing is nothing new on “College GameDay.” Sometimes it is not even the students who are doing it. Even by the show’s standards, however, this one was particularly loud.
The decision to broadcast from Coral Gables was criticized in some quarters this week, with Miami heavily favored to beat Florida, as well as more intriguing games on paper on the schedule. Hurricanes fans were determined to have their say, whether the show should have been there or not.
