Before the season, Houston Cougars head coach Tom Herman made a promise to his football team that could have resulted in him having to get a diamond mouth accessory. As you can see above, Herman is a man of his word.
Herman told the Cougars prior to the season if they won the American Athletic Conference championship he would get a diamond grill. Well, Houston went 12-1, won the AAC’s Western Division, and defeated Temple 24-13 in the conference championship game.
On Tuesday, Herman showed off his new grill and gave thanks to those who made it possible. “Thanks to @paulwallbaby, @TvJohnny and especially the Grill Committee for helping me keep my promise. #GoCoogs” Herman wrote on Twitter along with posting the above photo.
If you’re in Houston and need a grill, there aren’t many people better to get assistance from than Paul Wall.
As for Herman and the Cougars, they are preparing to face Florida State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. We can only hope to see Herman showing off his icy smile if Houston is victorious on Thursday.
