Trevone Boykin posted a heartfelt apology on Twitter Thursday night, several hours after being arrested for his role in a bar fight.
In his apology, the TCU quarterback took responsibility for his actions and apologized to his teammates and fans.

Boykin took a swing at a customer at a bar and accidentally hit an employee. He also reportedly swung at police officers and was threatened with a stun gun. He was suspended for the Alamo Bowl Saturday as a result.
What’s notable is that Boykin reportedly was in his room for curfew Wednesday night but went out afterwards.
