Daniels was 25/34 for 215 yards, a touchdown and an interception prior to his injury. Freshman Kedon Slovis entered the game in Daniels’ place in the third quarter.
Jack Sears saw the most action behind Daniels last season but recently entered the transfer portal. Matt Fink, who also saw some action last season, is behind Slovis on the depth chart.
