Matt Stutzman is known as the Inspirational Archer, but until this week, I was unfamiliar with him. Stutzman is from Mason City, Iowa, and he’s an accomplished archer despite being born without arms. He uses his feat as arms to shoot a bow and arrow. In September, he hit a shot on target from 230 yards away to set a world record. He actually believes that using his legs — which are stronger than most people’s arms — gives him an advantage. Here’s a video of Stutzman in action:
Stutzman is hoping to make the 2012 Paralympic Team. His goal is to be the best archer in the world. We’re not doubting his ability to make it happen.
