PFT Commenter trends as ‘Marlins Woman’
Two amusing areas of the internet converged on Sunday night during Game 2 of the NLCS between the Dodgers and Chicago Cubs.
Many of you know about the ubiquitous fan named “Marlins Man” who appears in prime seats behind home plate at many ballgames around the country. He tends to get increased exposure during the playoffs because it’s so odd to see a fan wearing Marlins gear at a playoff game not involving Miami’s baseball team.
Since Marlins Man tends to be wherever the big-time baseball games are, it’s no surprise he was sitting behind home plate for Game 2 at Wrigley Field. But what caught many off-guard was seeing another fan in an orange shirt sitting right next to him. That person turned out to be none other than Barstool Sports personality and all-around hilarious man, PFT Commenter.

But with his long blond hair, some fans started calling him “Marlins Woman”:

Putting his arm around Marlins Man confused some even more:

The joke was an all around success in the end:

And, no, there is no Marlins Woman.
