Roxanne Chalifoux became an internet sensation over the weekend as she played her piccolo with tears streaming down her face after Villanova’s loss to North Carolina State in the NCAA Tournament.
On Monday, the band member made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She joined musical guest The Roots to present a version of Villanova’s fight song. Chalifoux also talked about the now famous video and pictures of her that have taken over the internet as well as the attention she’s received from the moment. Fallon later present her with a gift basket containing ice cream, stuffed animals, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and two tickets to see Taylor Swift perform.
