Ryan Lochte said during a recent interview that he had bought a ring and was all ready to propose to girlfriend Kayla Rae Reid. The swimmer didn’t wait very long before doing so.
Lochte proposed to Reid in Malibu Canyon, Calif. on Sunday night. The two shared photos following the proposal on their social media profiles:

Lochte and Reid have been dating since March. They have not said exactly how they met, but Lochte was open about using dating apps such as Tinder. In an interview, Reid seemed to hint that’s how they met.
“He was on Tinder. I might be on Tinder,” she said. “That’s all I’m going to say about it.”
Reid is a Playboy model and was Miss July 2015.
