Beyonce halftime show

The halftime show at the Super Bowl generally receives a mixed reaction from fans, but the reviews for Beyonce’s performance on Sunday were mostly positive.

The singer/actress/entertainer electrified the Superdome with a combination of stellar singing skills and dance moves, all while oozing sexiness from her skimpy outfit.

Beyonce’s performance went over quite well on Twitter, which is generally a haven for snark and sarcasm. Sports figures from Kobe Bryant to Les Miles all had praise for her.

Below is a sampling of what some more notable sports figures thought of Beyonce.

Kobe Bryant and Chipper Jones were mesmerized:

Phenomenal talent #Respect @beyoncethe Greatest Female Entertainer of All Time

Chris Bosh puts it in historical context:

Kevin Durant was doing some karaoke:

Just printed the lyrics out and had a f’n sing along…oh man

— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) February 4, 2013

And Serena Williams may very well break Twitter if she manages to pull this off and share a picture of it:

Loved Beyonce’s outfit. I want one!!!!!!

— Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) February 4, 2013

Yes, folks, Beyonce’s performance certainly was a winner.
