Cordarrelle Patterson rocked suspenders and bow tie to draft
Cordarrelle Patterson was definitely trying to make a fashion statement at the NFL Draft. The former Tennessee wide receiver showed up to Radio City Music Hall wearing about every type of accessory possible.
Patterson had his hair up almost in a bun, sunglasses, a Tennessee orange handkerchief, a gold watch, gold bracelets, and a bow tie. But the most confounding part of his outfit was that he was wearing suspenders AND a belt. Can you make it more obvious that you’re just going for the fashion statement?
“I just like to stand out,” Patterson said of his style during an interview with ESPN’s Suzy Kolber. “I like to be different. Fashion is so big. Every time I step out, I just make sure I look the best because you never know who you’re going to run into.”
Now that’s the attitude.

And here is his Tennessee hanky:
Patterson spent two seasons at Hutchinson CC in Kansas following high school. He was considered the top JUCO player in the country, and he transferred to Tennessee where he scored 10 touchdowns last season. The versatile player scored as a runner, receiver, punt returner, and kick returner.
