49ers WR calls out Tua Tagovailoa for being ‘soft’
The Miami Dolphins were dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night, and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Willie Snead seemed to place the blame on one player.
Midway through Miami’s 26-7 Wild Card loss to the Chiefs, Snead shared a strong opinion of Tua Tagovailoa. Snead wrote on X that “the Dolphins will be good when Tua stop acting soft AF.”

Tagovailoa was just 20/39 for 199 yards, a touchdown and an interception against Kansas City, but he was far from the only issue for the Dolphins. The sub-zero temperatures seemed to impact Miami players the way most people predicted they would. The Dolphins also have not played well against teams with winning records, so that theme continued.
Entering Saturday, Tagovailoa was 0-6 in his career in games where the temperature does not get higher than 45 degrees. Snead, who was just signed to San Francisco’s active roster last month, is probably familiar with that record.
Tagovailoa set an impressive record during the regular season, but the early playoff exit is a huge disappointment for the Dolphins.
