DK Metcalf still isn’t doing his reputation any favors these days.
The Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Metcalf had arguably the worst drop of the NFL postseason thus far on Monday night versus the Houston Texans. During the first quarter of the AFC Wild Card game between the two teams at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa., Metcalf was able to shake Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. with a nifty move on a 2nd-and-10 play … but completely botched the finish.
Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers put the ball right on the hands of a wide-open Metcalf, only for Metcalf to (quite literally) drop the ball. Here is the video.
DK Metcalf might be a little rusty.

Rodgers was left in complete disbelief at Metcalf’s drop and could only stare off blankly into the abyss after the ball fell incomplete.

Monday’s playoff contest marked Metcalf’s first game back from suspension after the infamous incident where he threw a punch at a Detroit Lions fan during a game. After Metcalf’s two-game suspension ended, he then proceeded to post an obnoxious reaction to social media.
Rodgers and the Steelers made it a point of getting Metcalf involved right from the get-go against the Texans. But while the former All-Pro receiver had a couple of nice long receptions in the first half, that horrific drop was what stood out most in the eyes of fans.
