Aaron Rodgers had a classy message for Damar Hamlin when the two players swapped jerseys following Monday night’s game between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
After the Bills beat the Jets 23-20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., Rodgers and Hamlin shared a hug on the field. It looked like Rodgers asked Hamlin for the defensive back’s jersey and the two agreed to catch up later.

The two eventually did swap jerseys. Rodgers autographed his Jets jersey for Hamlin and wrote a heartfelt message on it:
“You’re an inspiration to me and millions! Much love, my brother!” Rodgers wrote.

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field late last season and had to be resuscitated. The 26-year-old has since made a full recovery.
Rodgers probably was not in the best mood following New York’s loss. He threw an interception on his final pass and later called out the officiating crew. None of that stopped him from sharing a nice moment with Hamlin, however.
