Just a few short months after being traded from the Green Bay Packers to New York Jets, quarterback Aaron Rodgers purchased a $9.5 million estate near Montclair, New Jersey.
The move from Wisconsin to New Jersey was a significant one but was made easier by Rodgers opting to keep his Oneida home. And apparently, the four-time NFL MVP has no plans to change that.
Although Rodgers will remain a member of the Jets for the foreseeable future, the New York Post reports that the 40-year-old is intent on keeping his 10,500-square-foot Wisconsin home, which is just a 20-minute ride from Lambeau Field.

“He has no plans to sell the home at the moment. He still has a lot of his things there and considers the place of sentimental value,” an insider told The Post.
With more than $300 million in career earnings, Rodgers certainly isn’t hurting for cash. He’s comfortable enough that he can keep both his Wisconsin and New Jersey homes and probably buy several others if he so desired. And with so much of his personal history rooted in Oneida, it should come as little surprise that he’s hanging onto that nostalgic estate.
