There are many ways to describe Aaron Rodgers’ tenure with the New York Jets thus far. One stat pretty much sums up a lot of the fan base’s woes.

The Jets on Sunday lost a heartbreaker to the Indianapolis Colts 28-27 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson scored a go-ahead touchdown in the final minute on a four-yard rush.

The defeat dropped the Jets to 3-8 in Rodgers’ first healthy season, giving him a .273 winning percentage as the team’s starting QB. A post on X has gone viral for pointing out that Rodgers has won at a worse rate than both Sam Darnold (.342) and Zach Wilson (.364).

Winning % as Jets starting QB:
Zach Wilson .364
Sam Darnold .342
Aaron Rodgers .273

Rodgers took a beating from fans online who could not help but make fun of the fact that he’s worse than the team’s last two regarded busts.

Aaron Rodgers being worse than both Zach Wilson and Sam Darnold's Jets Eras is honestly really funny

And this isn't a roster issue–Rodgers has more talent around him than Darnold ever did and CERTAINLY more than Zach ever did. Zach did by far the most with the least of any recent Jets QB. https://t.co/Ad40aQo1JN

The Jets selling their soul for Aaron Rodgers only for him to be a washed up bum and the team faring even worse than it did under Zach Wilson was the most Jets outcome possible, really.

Rodgers was seen as the quarterback savior that the Jets have long waited for. After wandering the proverbial desert for years, the Jets finally landed a multi-time MVP QB ready to lead them to the promised land.

But barring the Jets closing the season on an undefeated run to make the postseason, Rodgers has not changed anything for the perpetually despondent Jets fan base.
