Dick Butkus has seemingly made it his mission in life to troll Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, and the Chicago Bears legend’s latest work proves he does not plan on stopping anytime soon.
A report this week confirmed what many have been speculating recently — Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley have called off their engagement. Shortly after the news surfaced, Butkus took to Twitter to make sure everyone knows he is not responsible for the split.
for all of you who have asked
i am not the reason shailene woodley and @AaronRodgers12 have broken up— Dick Butkus (@thedickbutkus) February 17, 2022

Butkus has been throwing haymakers at Rodgers and the Packers for weeks now. The 79-year-old recently got his account verified, and he celebrated by taking a shot at Rodgers. Butkus even zinged his own nephew, who is an assistant coach in Green Bay.
It’s worth noting that Butkus didn’t fare well against the Packers during his remarkable career. The former linebacker’s Bears teams were 4-14 against Green Bay, but that doesn’t stop him from firing shots.
