The agent for Adrian Peterson made it clear in public comments Monday that he does not want his client to return to the Minnesota Vikings next season.
“I don’t think it’s in the best interests of Adrian Peterson to play for the Minnesota Vikings,” agent Ben Dogra said at the NFL owners meetings in Arizona.
This goes hand-in-hand with what we have been hearing all along. A recent report said Peterson wants to play for another NFL team, which is something he expressed interest in doing a few months ago. On top of that, Peterson’s agent is not getting along with the team.
A report said Dogra refused a meeting with Vikings GM Rick Spielman to talk about Peterson’s future with the team. Then at the scouting combine in February, Dogra reportedly had a confrontation with a Vikings employee and the two had to be separated. The Vikings have said they will not release Peterson, so his next course of action will probably be forcing a trade.
