Trade rumors have swirled around Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown for much of the season, but he seemingly opened the door to remaining in Philadelphia in 2026.
Brown sat down for an interview with Micah Parsons at the Super Bowl, and suggested the Eagles were making needed changes to the coaching staff after the demotion of former offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. He added that he wanted to remain with the Eagles and that Philadelphia is his home.
“Philly opened me with open arms,” Brown said. That’s home, and I love them. I love the support, I love the accountability, I love everything else that they do. Philly is Philly. You have to be there to understand.”

Brown also had praise for Patullo, but admitted that “sometimes change is not a bad thing.”
Brown sounds a lot more optimistic about his future with the Eagles than he did at times during the season. He never seemed happy with the offense, and his feelings seemed to boil over at times, especially toward the end of the season. Here, he expresses optimism for the future and does not sound like someone eager to leave Philadelphia.
Despite this, the trade rumors that have been swirling are unlikely to stop anytime soon. It certainly does not sound like he intends to push the issue, though.
