Despite some initial hope, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green won’t be able to go in Week 12.
The star receiver is nursing a toe injury and was moved to doubtful on the injury report, making him unlikely to play against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Green is close, and looks likely to return to action in Week 13.

There had been rumors that Green had a chance to play this week. Apparently he and the Bengals gave it a real good faith effort but came up just a bit short.
