Allen Robinson reportedly suffered ‘significant’ knee injury
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson hurt his knee during Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, and it sounds like the injury could be serious.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was told by a source that the knee injury Robinson suffered is “significant.”

We’d hate to speculate, but Robinson appeared to be in a lot of pain and most of the time “significant” knee injuries are season-ending. Hopefully Robinson is dealing with something less severe than a torn ligament. Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles must not have known how seriously Robinson was hurt, or he probably wouldn’t have patted him on his injured knee.
Robinson, a former second-round pick out of Penn State, was hoping to bounce back in 2017 after he had just 883 yards receiving and six touchdowns last season. Jacksonville came away with a big win on the road in Houston, but losing Robinson would take some of the enjoyment away.
