The New Orleans Saints may have lost Drew Brees for several weeks due to a thumb injury, but that’s not changing the mindset of their players.
Versatile running back Alvin Kamara was asked on Wednesday whether Brees’ injury has changed the team’s Super Bowl expectations. Kamara offered a perfect response.
Alvin Kamara when asked by someone if he still has Super Bowl expectations this year… "Do I still have a fleur-de-lis on my helmet?"

You have to love that attitude.
The Saints have won their division the last two years and really should have been in the Super Bowl last season. Their players should maintain those expectations regardless of whether or not they have a significant injury. Plus, with Brees out, it’s now Teddy Bridgewater’s opportunity to show whether he can help the team win. The rest of the team knows they need to step up with Brees out.
