WR Amara Darboh returns to Seattle IR after failing physical with Patriots
Amara Darboh has endured a volatile few weeks and now is back as a member of his old team, sort of.
Darboh was a third-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks last year and had eight catches for 74 yards as a rookie. He battled hip and clavicle injuries and missed most of the preseason, leading the team to waive him this month.
The New England Patriots picked up Darboh off waivers last week, but they waived him as well with a failed physical designation.
Friday’s NFL transaction wire stated that Darboh’s contract with the Seahawks has been reinstated and he is now back on the team’s injured reserve.
