The Miami Dolphins have shown all signs so far this season that they may be a historically bad NFL team. They’re terrible, and it’s by intention. Despite all that, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper isn’t getting carried away or allowing himself to believe the Dolphins “suck” this year.
Cooper shared his thoughts on Wednesday about facing the Dolphins in Week 3. Cooper is not taking his opponent lightly despite being a 21-point favorite in the game.
Amari Cooper on not taking Miami lightly:
“I know when I was on a team we probably got beat like that, I didn’t feel that we sucked. I just felt like we had a bad game. That’s how I feel about the Dolphins. I don’t feel that they suck.”

Cooper’s attitude is perfect. The moment you stop taking an opponent seriously is the moment you can end up being beaten.
But for the rest of us who don’t need to worry about preparing to beat the Dolphins on Sunday, we can safely say that yes, the Dolphins do suck this year, and they’ve only gotten worse since their last loss.
