Reid’s mustache freezing was no surprise given the conditions for the game. The temperature at kickoff for the game was -4 degrees. By halftime, it had dropped to -7 degrees.
The temperature at kickoff was tied for the fourth-lowest in NFL history. The 1967 Ice Bowl between the Cowboys and Packers remains the coldest ever at -13 degrees.
