Antonio Brown ‘gathering information’ on how to deal with foot blisters
Antonio Brown has not been practicing this week as he continues to deal with a nasty foot problem, and the star wide receiver is spending time away from the Oakland Raiders while he tries to tend to the issue.
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said Tuesday that Brown has been away from the team’s headquarters “gathering information” on what can be done about his feet. Gruden didn’t have any information beyond that.

We learned on Saturday that Brown was visiting a foot specialist, but it wasn’t until he shared a terrifying image on Instagram that we were able to understand the extent of the issue. While the Raiders are apparently not concerned about the “injury” long term, it looks extremely painful.
Brown is going to have to figure out how to get his feet to heal properly while also finding ways to prevent the problem from recurring going forward. Gruden has expressed disappointment in the 31-year-old not being able to take part in the bulk of training camp in his first preseason in Oakland.
