Antonio Callaway admits to smoking marijuana, takes ‘full responsibility’
Antonio Callaway had a diluted sample when he submitted a drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine last month, and the former Florida star is trying to face the latest questions about his character head-on.
On Wednesday, Callaway admitted to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that he smoked marijuana weeks before the combine and took full responsibility for the failed test.
Just spoke with remorseful #UF WR Antonio Callaway regarding his drug test at the Combine. He said he smoked weeks before but vowed “I take full responsibility for everything.” Callaway said Antonio Brown counseled him “There is too much opportunity to be messing up."

The sky was seemingly the limit for Callaway after he had an All-American season his freshman year with the Gators in 2015, but he has not been able to stay out of trouble off the field. He also had a marijuana arrest last year and was one of the Florida players involved in the credit card fraud matter that led to multiple suspensions. It would not be a surprise if he goes undrafted.
