Aqib Talib told police he was shot in park, too drunk to remember details
Aqib Talib told police he was in a park, not outside a nightclub, when he was shot in the leg early Sunday morning. Other than that, the Denver Broncos cornerback reportedly claims he does not remember much.
Rebecca Lopez of WFAA TV in Dallas read through a copy of the police report from the Talib incident, and she notes that police say Talib told them he was in a park shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday when he was shot.

Dallas Police are looking into the possibility Talib was at a nightclub not a park when he and 2 other people were shot."

That certainly adds a new twist to the story. Unfortunately, Talib reportedly claimed he was too intoxicated to remember details of the incident.

Footage that was obtained from outside the Vlive nightclub in Dallas shows that at least four shots were fired. If Talib was shot at a park, that means there were gunshots at more than one location that night. Since he claims he was too drunk to remember, his testimony is not all that believable.
As for the injury itself, the police report says the bullet entered through the rear of Talib’s right thigh and exited through his right calf. The 30-year-old reportedly only needed stitches at the hospital before being released. The Broncos are said to have looked into the possibility that Talib accidentally shot himself.
