Roquan Smith

Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith was knocked out of the team’s game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night in the first quarter with a pectoral injury.

Smith tried to tackle Ezekiel Elliott on a touchdown run on the Cowboys’ opening possession and may have gotten hurt on the play. Smith went into the medical tent and then FOX showed the linebacker heading into the locker room.

Early in the second quarter, the Bears announced that Smith was out for the game.

Smith has 99 tackles, two sacks and an interception this season. He was the No. 8 overall pick last year and played in all 16 regular season games. Kevin Pierre-Louis entered the game in his place.
