Ben Roethlisberger wants another shot at the Jaguars
Ben Roethlisberger knows which team he wants to face in the playoffs.
Roethlisberger said on his weekly appearance on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh that he wants another shot at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“I’ll give you guys one guess who you think I want to play,” Roethlisberger told The Fan. “Obviously, any game that we’re going to play since it’s the postseason is going to be a difficult opponent, but I think just for me personally I’d love to just prove that five interceptions wasn’t me in that game.”
Roethlisberger had his worst game of the season in a 30-9 loss to the Jags in Week 5. He threw five interceptions and even expressed doubt about his ability to play following that game.
Clearly Big Ben and the Steelers regrouped as they ended up going 13-3 to secure a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Roethlisberger will get his wish if the Jags beat the Buffalo Bills this weekend. If the Bills knock off the Jags, the Steelers would face the winner of the Chiefs-Titans game.
