Ben Roethlisberger after brutal game: ‘Maybe I don’t have it anymore’
Ben Roethlisberger’s confidence was clearly shot after a brutal game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Big Ben was intercepted five times during a 30-9 home loss to the Jags. After the game, Roethlisberger wondered whether he still was a good player.
Afterwards, Ben Roethlisberger said, "Maybe I don't have it anymore." Asked: What makes you say that? Says, "I'm not playing well enough." https://t.co/w1IcjgnYKY

Roethlisberger’s numbers were 33 of 55 for 312 yards and five interceptions.
Though his game was terrible, it’s not like he’s been that bad this season. His Steelers entered the game 3-1 and he had thrown six touchdowns and just two interceptions. The Jaguars’ defense also is developing a reputation for this sort of play. They sacked the Texans’ QBs 10 times in the first game of the season, resulting in Tom Savage being benched at the half. They also brutalized Joe Flacco into one of his worst games ever, resulting in him being benched too.
Roethlisberger still “has it”. He’s just the latest member of the “brutalized by the Jaguars” QB club. Still, this is not something you want to hear from your franchise QB, particularly one who openly pondered retirement in the offseason.
