It turns out not a lot of people are eager to check out a December game between the Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals.
Crowd shots from 15 minutes after kickoff at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati showed a very sparse audience for Sunday’s game between a pair of teams with a combined record of 8-18 on the season.
By any standard, that’s a pretty pathetic crowd. It’s still an NFL game no matter the teams involved, but it’s a clear sign of apathy among Cincinnati fans as their team limps to the finish line. Then again, would you be eager to show up to support a team that has essentially installed Hue Jackson as a coach-in-waiting?
